After a successful 30-year career as a graphic designer, I began to become frustrated with the new technologies and changing landscape of the design field. I slowly began to paint more and more and now I’ve become a full-time painter.
My creative process is ever evolving. After 6 years of hard work and focus on painting, I’ve realized that I spent my entire design career designing like a painter, and ironically I now paint like a designer. The simplicity and graphic nature of my work is informed by my passion for design and many of my favorite artists.
I have been fortunate to be a part of over 25 exhibitions throughout the Northeast. It’s my goal to continue to expand the reach of my gallery presence and be seen by as many people as possible. I am constantly working to hone my painting techniques to align with my own personal sense of artistic balance and tension and to make each painting better than the last.
